Hi! I'm Mauricio Abril.

I'm an artist working in the fields of Children's Publishing, Animation & Illustration.

As an author-illustrator, I'm proud to announce my debut picture book Programmed to Paint will be released January 2024 through Penguin Random House. I am represented by Birch Path Literary.

As a concept artist, I enjoy working on a variety of projects ranging from stylized animation to more detailed realism.

When I'm not working, I'm probably looking for a new pizza spot.
